More Reunion information here soon!

In the meantime, let's reminisce with how it went for the last
reunion back in the previous millennium, time scale shown in reverse order:

Full Moon, Reunion Night, September 25, 1999 - Yes, when we meet for the 35th reunion the moon will be full and bountiful. For you superstitious lot, this means you'll have lots more fun. Either that or this will be the best night for the rest of the century. It wasn't planned by the committee this way, so fate must have something to do with it. A full moon, near the end of the century, end of a millennium, and, ah, a new beginning for the rest of your long life. Corny? You bet! After all, it is Yamhill, not just Carlton.

RESERVING ROOMS AT SPIRIT MOUNTAIN LODGE
Lynda Armour asked me about reserving rooms at the Casino Lodge, so I thought I'd answer this in more detail for those who are interested.

We've already reserved 20 rooms at the Casino. They're quite nice, actually and normally go for $79.95 per night or more. That is what we're paying for them. However, to get your attention, and to get you to the Reunion, we've paid the other $30 for you, for one night. If you want the room, all you have to do is state so on the Registration form which was mailed to you and include an additional $50 with your Dinner payment in the envelope provided. If you forgot to ask for a room, or have changed your mind and now want one, just let me know and we'll reserve it for you. Then you can send your payment. But that $50 price is good for one night only. If you stay more than one day you'd have to pay the standard price of $80. Getting a room is the best way to go. You can get there early and relax and stay as long as you like. Or you can always call the Casino and reserve a room at the Spirit Mountain Lodge.

If you have other questions, just leave us a message.

LAST MEETING
Our last committee meeting was held on June 15th, 7pm, at Sheri's restaurant in Sherwood, Oregon. There will be no more committee meetings because everything has been decided.

2ND COMMITTEE MEETING
At the June 1st meeting some of committee members were absent because of other commitments so we proceeded without them and will let you all know what went on during the meeting. We're still trying to locate everyone, get their address so we can send them information about the 35th Reunion. Take a look at some of the pics we took at the meeting below.

1ST COMMITTEE MEETING
The first meeting was held at Sheri's restaurant in Sherwood, Oregon on Highway 99. There were 8 of us; John Shadden, Steve Dumdi, Diane Paolo, Roberta Kuykendall, Jim Maxey, Lester Helvie, and Sally Goodale.

WHERE TO HOLD REUNION
The Reunion might be held at Spirit Mountain Resort and Gambling Casino on September 25, 1999. It's not quite official but it's close to it. We're still accepting your suggestions.

Some of the reasons for considering Spirit Mountain is the ability for us to have our own room large Reunion banquet room and not be bothered by others at the Casino. Emphasis was suggested for quality while keeping the cost low. We should be able to have it all ways, quality, be left alone, good rooms for those staying overnight (especially for those arriving from out of state), plenty supplies of whatever we need; drinks, gambling, parking, friendly and exciting environment and many other benefits we'll be posting later.

We plan on bringing our own music on CD-ROM and with a decent sound system, playing those oldies but goodies, "It's My Party", "All In The Game", favorite music of the early sixties. We're in our 50's but still have energy. As Sally Goodale said, we're just big kids wanting to have some fun.

I took some photos at the second meeting as you can see above (left), just to give you an idea what we're looking like these days. Just click on them for the larger image. And another image as we were leaving.

All committee staff members have the ability to edit user Biography profiles so please do so by updating any information you have such as phone numbers, addresses, and if that person is attending.

So far staff members who have offered to help organize the 35th Reunion include John Shadden, Steve Dumdi, Diane Paolo, Roberta Kuykendall, Sally Goodale, Lester Helvie, Bill Guy, Marvin Wiebke, and myself. This is the list as it appears above. Click on the photo to see a larger image.
